Team Malaysia continues its impressive start of the A1GP season with a sensational double podium, with Fairuz Fauzy finishing in second spot behind Team New Zealand in the Feature race at Zandvoort, Netherlands. This is after Fairuz’s outstanding win in the Sprint event yesterday. Team Malaysia currently leads the ten event 2008/2009 A1GP World Cup of Motorsport championships.

Fairuz Fauzy battled torrential rain in the new A1 Ferrari-powered race car to score an outstanding win for A1 Team Malaysia at Zandvoort, Netherlands earlier today. Starting from fourth at the grid, Fairuz drove an outstanding race to score his first win in the season’s maiden race.

Alex Yoong powers A1 Team Malaysia to a strong ninth place finish in the Sprint race in Mexico. A drive-through penalty during the Feature race however, resulted in a disappointing 15th place finish.
