Alex Yoong powers A1 Team Malaysia to a strong ninth place finish in the Sprint race in Mexico. A drive-through penalty during the Feature race however, resulted in a disappointing 15th place finish.

Proton must be kicking themselves in the foot for launching the new Gen.2 on March 8. Talk about having your thunder stolen. No thanks to the 12th National Elections.
