Jazeman Jaafar

15-year old racing sensation, Jazeman Jaafar will partner the experienced hands of Tommy Lee and Bill Ng in the R3-prepared Lotus Exige 300RR for the coming Merdeka Millenium Endurance race at the SIC. One of Malaysia’s (and Asian’s) brightest and rising stars in racing, he is currently race leader in the Formula BMW Asia series. Jazeman is also the first Malaysian and youngest ever driver to win a Formula BMW Asia race.

Jazeman recently had a chance to experience what it was like to drive a Formula 1 car in the Williams F1 headquarters, Oxford, UK, albeit in a simulator. He lapped the 5.543km Sepang circuit in a scorching 1:37, a substantial difference from 2:12 in a Formula BMW car.
