Luke’s Stage 3 Satria R3 spent a little time at GT Auto last Saturday for some on-dyno tuning. Thanks to the able hands of Thomas, the blueprinted 4G93 Stage 3 engine was tweaked from 136whp to a peak of 142whp. Peak power aside, the tuning of fuel regulator and cam timing brought 5whp gains across the rev range. Impressive indeed.

Jonnz’s 1.8 MIVEC hybrid brought some impressive figures, considering very little engine work had been done. With some tweaking of the SAFC from Thomas, Jonnz’s ride hit 151whp from 143whp. The owner, delighted indeed!

Here’s a typical Stage 2 Satria R3 dyno chart reading for reference. Don’t forget to also have a look at real-world performance figures of the Satria R3 in different stages of tune.
