In conjunction with the High Performance Challenge (HPC) Track Day that will be held on Sunday 17 September 2006 at the Sepang International Circuit, R3 will be having a special follow-up promotion with 20% discount of all R3 Performance Products, Accessories and Merchandise including its latest performance parts and accessories for the Proton Waja and Proton Gen.2.

R3 has also prepared special handling and braking packages for the promotion. Customers who opt for the handling or braking packages with be rewarded with up to 20% discount on parts along with free labour as well as other free goodies in the form of R3 Performance Parts such as its Aluminium Under Chassis Tie-Bar. To ensure that participants taking part in the track day don’t miss out on this great offer R3 has ensured that its performance parts, accessories and merchandise range will be available and on sale at the event itself.

Working closely with organisers from HPC on the upcoming track day, R3 will also feature “taxi ride” sessions where participants will get to ride shotgun in exclusive R3 race prepared vehicles like the Proton Waja MME Edition Race Car that finished third in class and 15th overall at the recently held 12-hour Merdeka Millennium Endurance (MME) 2006. R3 will also be bringing a race prepared Lotus Exige R that competed in the 2004 MME.

These race cars will be driven by professional drivers from R3 including Head of R3, Tengku Djan Ley and Head of R3’s Special Projects department, Adian Yein Khalid.

Participants will also get to sample R3’s proprietary grass roots racing series, the R3 Time Attack Challenge Championship (R3TACC) on the day as the Motorsports Division of Proton will be preparing a specially constructed R3TACC course at the paddock car park. The course will be active for the duration of the event and is open to all R3 HPC Track Day participants. As an added incentive, the top 10 fastest participants through the course will receive exclusive R3 Softwears official merchandise products.

The R3 HPC Track Day Promotion will run from 13 September all the way to 17 September 2006.
